Welcome to my portfolio!

My name is Mary Jude Schmitz. I am a math teacher and the mathematics department chair. at Nerinx Hall High School. I am currently working on a Master's of Science in Learning Technologies at Fontbonne University.

I am very passionate about bringing technology and 21st Century Learning to my math classes. I have flipped my Geometry Honors classes and now that I am on my 3rd year of implementation, I feel like I have created a good program (although there is always room for improvement). I hope to learn much more as I make my way through this Master's program.

My plans for this portfolio are to have all of my work for class CED505 in one place that is organized and easily accessible. I also will use this portfolio as a way to display my work for others in my class to comment on and critique. I have found that in my online classes, feedback from my teacher and my classmates is extremely helpful and necessary.
